Ingredients
- 1 sheet Pillsbury Puff Pastry
- 8 oz guava paste
- 4 tbsp hot water
- 1 cup poswedered sugar
Instructions
- Pre-heat your oven to 375 degrees
- In a stand mixer (or handheld mixer) cream the guava paste with the hot water until you for a soft creamy paste
- Run a dough roller docker, over the puff pastry sheet
- Cut the puff pastry sheet with a 2" square cutter and place them on a baking sheet that has been lined with baking paper
- Place in the pre-heated oven and bake for 18-20 minute, or until light and golden in color
- Let the puff pastry cool before proceeding
- Cut the puff pastry squares in half and place a tablespoon of guava paste on the center and close together
- Sprinkles powdered sugar on top of the puff pastry squares
Notes
You can substitute the guava paste, with other ingredients such as fruit preserves or even Nutella.
